Yama
A demon of quite obviously fathomable power. The vicious grin rarely leaves his face.
Yama is a solo three-phase fight in the real Yama arena, instanced per run. Every attempt gets its own copy of the arena, so nobody can steal your kill or crash your run.
Getting there
Open the teleport panel with ::teles, then the Bosses tab, and take the Yama row. The ::yama command goes straight there.
The fight
Phase one is a straight damage race with glyphs on the floor - stand off them. Phase two adds the meteor, which telegraphs before it lands. Between phases the Judge of Yama intervenes; the Judge is not attackable and is not part of your kill.
Yama is immune to both poison and venom, and his demonbane vulnerability is 1.2x, so an Emberlight's 1.7x bonus becomes 1.84x against him. His Void Flares take a full 2.0x.
Rewards
The Oathplate pieces and the Soulflame horn are the fight's uniques. The horn's "Entice" special is usable solo here, which is a deliberate deviation from Old School, where it needs a second player.
Drops
Rates are per drop-table roll. A kill rolls the table one to three times, so the real per-kill chance is a little better than shown. Blood money and coins are guaranteed on every kill.
