Your account, Discord and the website
Linking your Discord, signing in to the site, inviting people, and where to go when something is broken.
Linking Discord
::link opens your browser and links this account to your Discord. If the browser cannot open, /link in the Discord server gives you a code to type back as ::link <code>. ::unlink undoes it.
Two things follow from a link:
- Your vote points go up by half. Every vote you cast pays 1.5x while the link is in place (voting).
- Your rank shows up in Discord. Roles follow the highest rank across every character behind one Discord account, so linking one character is enough.
::discord opens the invite at any time.
The website
::password sets or changes a password for the site, which is separate from your game password on purpose. With one set you can sign in from the button in the site's header and see your profile and your hiscores.
::website and ::hiscores open the site and the boards. ::wiki opens this wiki, and ::wiki <words> searches it. In game you can also right-click almost anything - an item, a monster, a piece of scenery - and choose Wiki to open its page here.
Inviting people
::referral shows your code and how the people you invited are doing. Somebody redeems it with ::referral <code> while their account is still new.
Both sides are paid once the invited account has genuinely played: 2,500 blood money and a Blood key to you, 1,000 and a key to them. "Genuinely played" is four things at once - two hours of playtime, 100,000 experience gained since redeeming, an account a day old, and seen on two different days. An hour of standing still does not do it.
Ten paid referrals per account.
On top of that there are bond milestones at 2, 4 and 10 qualifying referrals, worth $5, $10 and $25. Those are handed over by a person rather than by the game, and each referral has to be a week old first.
When something is wrong
::bugand::suggestionopen the in-game form, which goes straight to the staff channel. The Feedback tab in your chat box is the same form. Anything you had already typed comes with you as the draft.::stuckfrees you if the world has genuinely wedged you somewhere. It checks first, so it is not a teleport.::yellreaches everybody online, and the Help clan chat is there for questions.
