The trading hall at home, with the three desks laid out around the carpet and a keeper standing behind each

Home has a trading hall: a walled building on the west side of the plaza with three counters in it, and every shop in the game one click away from inside. Nieve has taken over every boss outside the Wilderness and has her own rewards counter to spend the points at, and the Blood Pacts board has been rebuilt so the whole tree fits on one screen.

Highlights

  • The trading hall - the walled building west of the plaza is a shop hall now, with three trading desks in it and every counter in the game reachable from inside.
  • Nieve gives boss tasks - every boss outside the Wilderness is hers, paid in Slayer points and Slayer experience. Blood Krystilia keeps the thirteen Wilderness rows and the risk pay that goes with them.
  • Slayer tasks credit what they should - 116 of the monsters standing in the world paid nothing towards the task that named them, including five of the six ghosts and forty of the forty-one goblins.
  • The Blood Pacts board fits on one screen - all 27 pacts at once, six veins running off the trunk, instead of a quarter of the tree behind a drag.
  • Three bosses that paid nothing now pay - the Blood maledictus, the Gemstone Crab's shell, and an arena world boss whose twenty minutes run out.

New content

  • The trading hall - walk in through the east door and the aisle runs to the far wall, with the Grand Exchange clerk and the Shop keeper standing behind the desk at the end. Click either of them and you are served across the counter rather than walked all the way round the end of it.
  • The Skilling desk - the southern desk in the hall fronts all twelve counters a skill is bought from, Apothecary to Aubury. Trade opens one of them at random, and Browse-shops lists all twelve on a numbered scroll.
  • The Supply desk - the northern one fronts the blood money counter, the Armoury and Supplies, each a row of its own on the right-click menu. What is standing on a desk is what it sells, so you can tell the two apart without reading the name.
  • The General Store joins the shop rail - it was the one counter the shop window would not draw, and it is now listed with every other one under a coins icon. Its eight sundries came off the shelf at the same time: what is on sale there is what other players have sold in, which is what the counter was always for.
  • Nieve's rewards counter - the gear ladder is buyable with Slayer points, at exactly the prices Krystilia charged. The mirror shield, facemask, rock hammer and fishing explosive are free, because all four gate bosses that are hers now. The Blood keys and the blood slayer helmet stay Krystilia's.
  • The Zamorakian spear converts to a hasta - free and reversible on a right-click. Same requirement, same bonuses, same speed, and the hasta is the form that holds a shield. It had no source at all before this.
  • Spirit shield and Blessed spirit shield - on the Armoury at 1M and 5M, so a sigil you cannot use is no longer the end of the line. The sigils and the Holy elixir are untouched.
  • Shears - stocked by Dommik's Crafting Store, beside the needle and the chisel.
  • The Sanguine altar - the altar north of the bank is our own now rather than a borrowed chaos altar, and still pays three and a half times what burying a bone does.
  • The Blood fountain - restoned to match the dark courtyard it stands in, with a ring of skulls around the base.
  • The Slayer masters moved - Nieve and Blood Krystilia stand against the bank's north wall with the Blood chest between them, and their minimap markers moved with them.
  • The Mage of Zamorak and the Sawmill operator - back at home, east of the two Slayer masters, so the Abyss and the sawmill have a door again.

Combat and balance

  • The boss split - you hold one assignment, one streak, one points pool and one set of block slots whichever kind is in it, and you pick monsters or bosses when you ask for work rather than picking the monster. Krystilia's thirteen Wilderness rows still pay blood slayer points, an emblem tier and the two Wilderness keys.
  • The thirteen content unlocks moved - they sit on Nieve's Unlock tab at the prices they carried, switched-off state included. The two boss Extend rows were copied rather than moved, and Blood Hunter was refunded its 500 points, because doubling a Wilderness boss's weight on a board that is now nothing but Wilderness bosses doubles nothing. A task you are already on is left where it was set.
  • Slayer experience retuned - taking the revenants out of the ghosts category made the walk to 99 longer, so the rate was measured and solved for again. It now runs 34 to 35 hours over 36 tasks.
  • The noxious halberd is a halberd again - it could not touch Kree'arra, an aviansie or Dawn, it swung from one tile instead of two, and it lost its full damage against the Corporeal Beast.
  • The Blood maledictus - walked away mid-fight and came back at full health against anyone not stood next to him. He stays where he is fought now and nothing writes his health back up. His own Blood special still heals him, because that is the boss doing something.
  • The Gemstone Crab's shell - earned by landing five hits rather than by taking a share of the damage. The six minutes are a clock and not a health bar, so damage there measured your gear and nothing else, and a low-level account that swung for the whole fight could be told it had not done enough. The size of the share is still weighted by damage.
  • An arena world boss that runs out of time - Death turns up, finishes it off and leaves, and the kill credit, the purse, the chases, the pet and the boost all go to the players who fought it. It used to vanish and pay nothing, so a crowd that had Skotizo down to 400 got a line of chat instead.
  • The world boss banner is back on - the Wilderness row on the roster was the only live world boss the game never said was live.
  • Clicking something out of reach - you take a step now. The click used to turn you to face it and then stand still for a tick before moving.

Interface and quality of life

  • The Blood Pacts board - the whole tree at 1:1, six veins off one trunk, with every pact's name, cost and state read straight off the server. A vein lights when the pact it runs into is forged, so the board fills in from the fountain outwards. A left click still only selects, and the purchase fires from Forge or the pact's own right-click.
  • Grand Exchange quantity and price - click the number to type it. Both prompts already existed, buried as the fourth right-click row of a 24-pixel arrow.
  • Nieve says where your task lives - the hint was behind "Where should I look?", one conversation away from the assignment. She now tells you what you have, where it lives and that the Teleports window will take you.
  • Your task in the Teleports window - a boss assignment opens that boss's own row rather than refusing.
  • The Slayer ring - teleports to your task whichever master set it.
  • The referral command - a menu now: show your own code, or type somebody else's in. Typing it as an argument still works, since the wiki and the Discord both name it that way.
  • Referral rewards pay when nobody is home - both sides are paid the moment a code is redeemed, and a referrer who is offline gets theirs at their next login.
  • The YouTuber crown - a badge for content creators, in its own red so it can never be mistaken for staff. A YouTuber's referral code is their name, so a viewer can type it off a video without pausing it.

Client and performance

  • The minimap orbs - Tasks, Item Spawner and Presets sat on top of the minimap in both resizable layouts. They sit in the free strip under the map there now, and are exactly where they were in the fixed one.
  • The option scroll - the parchment behind an obelisk's destination list hung off the top of its box and ran out around the ninth row, so a long list read as a torn half sheet with options floating over the world. The whole scroll fits now, and every row is numbered.

Fixes

  • Ghosts, goblins, zombies and nine more species - 116 of the monsters standing in the world credited nothing towards the task that named them, and every one of them looked exactly like the ones that did. A ghosts task had a five-in-six chance of sending you at a ghost that paid no experience and said nothing about why.
  • Twenty-six tasks with nowhere to go - bats, ghosts, goblins, rats, wolves, dogs and ogres live on the surface rather than in a dungeon, so Nieve said they turn up all over and the Teleports window refused. Every task has a home now, named against the nearest teleport, and five new camps came with it.
  • A ghosts task was crediting revenants - the wiki files every revenant as a ghost as well, so one deep-Wilderness kill ticked both Slayer boards at once.
  • The Corrupted Gauntlet's singing bowl - refused a second vial, which closed the potion chain after the first dose. The four rows a run spends can be made as often as you like now, and keep their cost in green with the count beside it.
  • A mutual kill in a tournament - went to whoever died second, so a Vengeance kill could never win a double knockout. It is judged on damage done now, a coin flip settles an exact tie, and the bracket says it was a double knockout.
  • Nieve's dialogue - "you have already got a job on" ran straight on into "I have nothing for you" a click later.
  • The araxyte head - the unlock it wants is Nieve's now, and the refusal message says so.
  • Home - the trading hall has more room in it, and two bare patches of ground are planted.
